Everytime I get a sniffle, I go "Wished it turns into a big fat headache so I can rent a DVD and rest at home" (no MC required). NOooo!! It never happens. I'm always fine the next day. Maybe cos the GP's here are so ex to see and you cant exactly walk in when you have a fever. U make an appointment but by the time they are available, u've probably self medicated and felt so much better that seeing the doc is just a waste of time...
Now I understand how a friend managed to chalk up 6 months plus of sick leave and wondered how it wouldnt be such a bad idea if he fell off the ladder and broke his foot...
On a un-related note, as its always nice to see have a pic, here's a nighshot from the Crown Casino looking back on Melbourne, the last time I visited Cat.

I strongly believe its got to do with air quality.
Here the air/weather is humid and warm. Ideal for virus to trive and spread.
There is dry and cooler, not so ideal for those viruses to grow and spread.
Anyway you don't really need an MC there do u. Just call in a sicky. That is what Jamie tells me anyway.
PS: Hey i rem you having access to AIS triathletes training manual? Can copy me a copy?
Gerard...you just have to do what everyone else does in the public system - pull a sicky even when you are NOT sick :P
Trust me, I'm a doctor :):)
